The Casa's location in Axarquia means that is has the milder climate for which this region, between the sea and the surrounding bowl of mountains of the Sierra Tejeda, is known. El Romo can get very hot in high summer, but Casa de Luz, on the crest of its ridge, is guaranteed to catch a welcome breeze most afternoons.
