Caza de Luz is a restored Adaluzian property comprising two adjoining farmhouses and their associated cuadras or stables. They were built by father and son, the grandfather and father of our neighbour, Pedro. Each house forms the arm of an "L", built on the crest of a ridge with steep slopes below. The cuadras lie between and below them. Parts of the cuadras were in ruins and had to be substantially rebuilt to form what we call the Casita de Algarrobo and Cuarto Rojo. Old features, such as the beam and cana ceilings throughout the Casa and in the Casita's bedroom and bathroom, remain. Casa de Luz itself is a hundred or more years old, The Old House a generation older. Please see the location and accommodation pages for full details.
